Upright Sketches Album Art
The Rick Gallagher Project approached me, asking me to partner with him on some unique, refined sketch-like album covers for his upright piano album series. They’re intentionally unrefined and meant to sound like you’re sitting next to the piano rather than listening to a highly refined album. Rick wanted that aesthetic to continue into the album art
The typical art in the Jazz genre is either highly saturated or black and white nature photos or photos of the musician. We went in the opposite direction.
As Rick makes more albums, I’ll make more covers.
